 Tarot Atelier ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy above all else. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about our data collection practices regarding our mobile application, Tarot Atelier (the "App").

Unlike modern apps that track your personal information, our App is built around a structural Privacy-by-Design philosophy.

1. Zero Data Collection

We do not collect, access, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive user information. When you use Tarot Atelier, you operate in a completely anonymous environment.

Specifically, we do not collect:

  • No Account Identifiers: We do not require registration, login credentials, names, or email addresses to unlock app features.

  • No User-Generated Text Collection: Any text logs, questions, journal entries, or custom notes you type alongside your Tarot card readings are processed and stored strictly on your local device. This data never touches an external server and is completely invisible to us.

  • No Structural Diagnostics/Analytics: We do not track your unique device identifiers (like IDFA or AAID), IP addresses, or location data.

2. Local Storage Only

All application data—including saved card spreads, historical readings, and configuration preferences—is stored entirely within your device's secure local sandbox memory.

  • If you delete the App from your device, all your saved readings and journals are immediately and permanently erased from your device.

  • Because we have zero access to your device's local storage, we cannot back up, view, or restore your data if your device is lost or damaged.

3. Third-Party Services & Payments

  • No Third-Party Tracker SDKs: The App does not contain advertising networks, external analytic trackers, or third-party behavioral code libraries.

  • Secure App Store Purchases: If the App offers in-app premium features or subscriptions, all payments are securely managed directly through the official Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing frameworks. We do not receive, see, or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank account details.

4. Children's Privacy

Because we do not collect any personal data whatsoever, the App naturally complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) frameworks. We do not track or store personal information from any user, regardless of age.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect cosmetic documentation updates or changing app store compliance mandates. If our data collection philosophy ever shifts (for example, if we introduce optional cloud backup features), we will release an app update along with a prominently updated policy showing the modifications.
